Description
Sheesh. This is stunning.
This is the first Waterloo I have had my hands on..and it certainly delivers all it promises.
If you've been lusting after a guitar that nails that depression era sound...this may well and truly float your boat.
V Neck, truss rod, X braced, light finish, this feels a lot closer to the thing it's inspired by than a lot of other builds.
Couple of small marks on the body, but everything is working as it should, and should for a long time to come.
Excellent geometry as you'd expect. Currently sitting strung with 12-54s with a 2.75mm action on the bass side, 2.5mm on the treble side at the 12th fret with a straight neck. Saddle is sitting proud of the bridge by 3.5mm, so has plenty of room to move should you want a lower action, however, the guitar is already well within spec.
Comes in the Waterloo branded TKL case, and has a low serial number too of #482.
Made in the USA by Collings.
