Crazy late 60s Mosrite inspired Tokai Hummingbird.
This is a 200S that has sadly had the fuzz circuit gutted and a new pickguard cut in black...usually these have a white pickguard.
The colour is a deep blue, almost black, looks so damn good in the flesh.
2 very vintage sounding Mossy inspired single coil pickups and Vol, Tone and pickup switch..sounds and plays like a '60s guitar, because it is!
Some checking on the body, some tiny bits of the guard missing but frets are good and a fresh set up has done wonders for the playability.
These suckers don't come up for sale all that often, they are much more exciting than the reissue..and if you are going to spend your hard earned on something, it might as well be a Hummingbird...
