Don't be fooled by the price point of this El Maya, these were a quality build made by Chushin Gakki in the 1970s and 80s.

There has been a couple of useful mods to this one that may even improve on stock.
Locking Gotoh tuners, and a new pickguard, with 3 unknown, but seriously good sounding single coil pickups.
Kind of nice mix of aesthetics, 70s style big headstock with a 50s looking Ash body, blond finish and 1 ply guard.
Yep, don't be fooled, this is a splendid S style guitar for under a K.
